S O M E   T H I N G S  about me:

• I drove cross-country from DC to San Diego in December 2010! Then I drove back across in August 2011!
• I was working at National Geographic Magazine as a Designer, but after three years there I decided it was the time to take my creative career to a more creative level.
• Then I worked at the San Diego Union-Tribune as a contract Page Designer on the features sections for a couple of months.
• I have 8 years of professional design experience.
• I am an Adobe InDesign expert!
• I designed a book: Reza War + Peace
• I love Adobe After Effects!
• Print has been my main medium, but my ultimate goal is to make movie titles! Check out my motion design.
• I was a competitive ice skater as a child. I think the ability to really feel the music, nail timing and tone, and envision creative choreography comes from my days as a skater.
• While I get great satisfaction from the instant gratification of designing for the web, I am not a coder.
• I adore yoga, movie title sequences and making things with my hands– such as screen printing, cooking dinner and planting trees.
• I love to travel– and apparently to show off my pics!
