While the feel of the project gives a nod to looking ahead at the upcoming “second century” for the Parks, it must still appeal—and get through to—busy, type-a representatives, congress men and women, and possibly even President Obama. The report was published in September 2009 and will hopefully influence lawmakers to change the way we utilize or nation’s best asset: the National Parks.
